learn a new way to manipulate Frenchwired
ribbon into a full bloom rose with
crushed or hand “pleated” petals. A
special never-before-taught process,
developed by Arlene, creates ribbon
which looks similar to fabric created by
its namesake, the 1920s designer
Fortuny.

used for quilt or garment embellishment.
We’ll examine how to decipher the design
